The Fifth Joyful Mystery-The Finding of the Child Jesus in the Temple

You may read each meditation before each Hail Mary as below or all together before commencing the Hail Mary's

OUR Father, Who art in heaven. Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done; on earth, as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; But deliver us from evil.  Amen.

i)          "When Jesus was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem as usual for the Pasch."  (Luke 2:42)

HAlL Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus.  Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

ii)         "When they were returning the boy Jesus remained in Jerusalem, unknown to His parents." (Luke 2:43)

iii)         "Supposing Him to be in the company they went a day's journey and then sought Him among their kinsfolk."            (Luke 2:44)

 GLORY be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.  As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be: world without end. Amen.

O   MY Jesus, forgive us our sins. Save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls to Heaven, especially those who are most in need of thy mercy.
